0-3 Months - 16" Around Bottom
3-6 Months - 17"
6-9 Months - 18" 
9-12 Months - 19"
12-18 Months - 20"
18-24 Months - 21"


**Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced (but don't forget I'm here to help so go for the challenge!) 

If you are good at counting stitches and can see which stitches are on top of each other you should have no problem because that's the trickiest part involved in the diamond part.

Materials Needed:

4 Ply cotton yarn (3 ply if your baby overheats easily)
5.00 mm hook
3/4" elastic (20" should cover any size)
Scissors
Needle with a Large Eye

2D Crochet Dragonfly Applique

I found these two patterns online from "Esperanza Rosas". I had to have the page translated but these are her designs and she has posted on youtube also the video tutorial to make these so go watch them! ^^ Just so you know... the videos are not in English :P so just follow along with the picture if you don't speak spanish.

The nice thing about pattern is that it is somewhat 3D as well from the tail and she shows you how to do this twisted look in the videos. (You have to do the tail by hand not with the hook)

Crochet Checkerboard Stitch Applied to Granny Square - From Crochetpedia

Checkerboard stitch is a very basic, very easy type of stitch that mannny people use when making blankets and pillows, even hats! It's one of those need to know stitches! It is a great beginner piece project too!

2D Crochet Elephant Applique

For some reason I've always loved elephants. Check out these two symbol patterns. The first one is pretty basic but still you know it's an elephant! This first design belongs to "Podarok"  The second one is quite oriental looking I love it but not sure who's design it is!

2D Crochet Rabbit / Bunny Applique

Everyone likes bunnies so there are many many different patterns for making them. Found the first 5 online but don't know who designed them. They are all pretty cute in their own way.

The bow-tie on this bunny below is kinda freaking me out not sure if I like that... :P Looks kinda like a mustache!

I love how this is displayed  the bunny looks so cute here on the square it has a beautiful finish.

This last one i'm guessing is a bunny... I can't imagine what else it would be... I think the eyes are just a bit too close together in the picture which is just confusing...:P
